Enemies are the main resistance to players in Astroflux. Enemies fall into a few different groups: Mobs, Spawners, Mini Bosses,Bosses and players if you are playing in PvP systems . There are currently 159 enemies in AstroFlux. Not all of these enemies are in the Alien Encounters list.
Most enemies can be found in multiple systems and can vary in level. The level of an enemy will not necessarily tell you how hard it is to defeat. You are likely to find a level 24 Dread Algae significantly more difficult than a level 26 Blood Macrophage.
Mobs are the primary enemy you'll find in the game. Some mobs are spaceships while others are biological bug-like creatures. Mobs are not affected by the environment in the same way as the player. They can fly though suns, black holes and death lines. When mobs are killed, they drop Space Junk which can be recycled into Resources. This is an alphabetical list of them.
Mini bosses are much more powerful than normal mobs. They have more health and do more damage than normal enemies They will drop more artifacts than a normal mob and some will drop data chips or a weapon. Mini Bosses patrol certain areas and usually mean a quick death to unsuspecting players. The current mini bosses are:
Bosses are unique and massive enemies with robust health, and massive firepower. All bosses have one or more parts that can be destroyed separately from the rest. Some bosses require you to destroy all of their parts to kill it, others do not. When a boss spawns you will be notified by a system wide announcement and will be marked on the map with a red skull and crossbones. Bosses drop data chips, multiple artifacts and some can drop a weapon.
A spawner is an enemy that produces other enemies and attack players with a turret. Spawners can be found on planets, withered roots or floating about the system. They are marked with a red dot on the map. All spawners drop the same loot as the enemy they spawn. There are several types of spawner:
