"Captain, next time they launch those heavy missiles, harden your shield! They hurt!"

Be prepared to make the quick decision to fight or flight in the face of this technological terror. Nezerian Dreadnoughts have massive stats along with high damaging weapons. Not to be taken on alone (unless you are truly prepared) as it is very difficult to kill these ships due to their 1,000,000 shield regen. It is located in main Sarkinon normally attacking the insects that inhabit the area.

They shoot multiple volleys of Cruise Missiles and Hunter-killer Launcher at the player they are targeting. They use their triple beamer to shoot as a long range weapon and fire their plasma gun at any foe foolish enough to come close to it.

Nowadays, with elite tech, experienced players ares able to kill a Dreadnought (DN) alone, close to a safe zone or not. In most cases, these players use sticky bombs (on Medic C2 or Retro ships) or acid blaster (with high Rate of Fire arts).

For other players, make a team!

  • Tip 1  : About shield regen debuff

Do not forget that a DN has a high shield regen (1 million per second). So using a shield regen debuff weapon is necessary, or the shield will be full in one or two seconds. You should have 2 players shooting shield regen debuff weapons, in case the debuffer dies and the effect wears off.

  • Tip 2 : About damaging

The Dreadnought shield is easy to take down with any weapon, but a DN has high armor. That means some weapons will be useless against it : Particle Gun, Gatling Gun, and other weapons that shoot large amounts of low damaging shots. You can use an armor debuffing weapon to get past this, like C-4 or Razor. Sticky Bombs are very strong for damaging, and also long range DoT weapons (Acid Blaster, Moth Queen Spit Gland.) Using a short range DoT weapon (Plasma Gun, etc.) is tricky. Pay attention to the DN's resists too. Infested Missiles is useful to debuff it.

  • Tip 3 : About a team
    • Clean or tank the missiles (Energy Nova)
    • Shield regen debuffing
    • Armor debuffing (if needed)
    • Healing players (if needed)
    • And of course, Damage!
  • Tip 4 : Others
    • Energy Orb is a good distraction to avoid DN missiles.
    • Algae Nova Gland, Nuke launcher can clean missiles, but can clean your damage weapons too : HK, Moth Spit Gland...

Spawn Location

Random, they have an invisible spawner with an unknown orbit. They are preceded by a swarm of fighters. To find them simply wait, they will make their way into the south section of sarkinon and begin killing everything there. Watch the map for missing spawners, that will be them killing stuff.

The first spawn comes 30 minutes after the instance is open, and every 30 minutes from the time they spawn. If it takes you 30 minutes or more to finish them off then a new batch will spawn immediately.

Encounter Experience

This encounter gives 18,896 xp to players who defeat it for the first time.
