The Renegade Dmat-90 is a mini-boss found in Kritillian's elite zone. The main weapon of a Renegade Dmat-90 is a Gatling Laser which can do a ton of damage very quickly. A Renegade Dmat-90 can also explode in a kamikaze attack when it is low on health and close to a player. They can be found in Kritillian's elite zone guarding the planet Mikus.


The Renegade Dmat-90's Gatling Laser can be a devastating weapon at close range so it is usually best to engage with a weapon like Acid Blaster or Particle Gun which have a longer range. The basic strategy is to stay ahead of the Renegade Dmat-90 and turn around and fire when you can. As long as you don't get too far away, it will not give up chasing you. You may also want to consider adding some armor. It will significantly reduce the of damage the Renegade Dmat-90 if you stray too close. If you're a corrosive ship, it can be killed with Plankton Siphon Gland. The trick for this is to use a luring weapon, so only one follows you away. Make sure it does not have a gold, green, or red aura if you don't want a challenge. Then let it circle you, using your Q and R ability as often as possible while firing your weapon.
